Nourishing Roots Project:
Spend a year traveling to form relations, gain insight into cultures and locations to be worked in by future organization, Bloom for Life, and finish collaboration with partners and organizations to manifest non-profit (NGO).
Work with 4 Orphanages. Teach holistic health, sustainable agriculture, and inspire unity with projects and donated resources.
Write and publish my books, capture unique articles and content relaying the beauty of humanity. Obtain quality photography, insight on the land and destined locations, and use the inspired adventures to write and share efforts world-wide.
**Please be on the lookout for updates to this itinerary**
Travel / Research Itinerary
If you haven’t yet read the Overview of what this project is about and is for, please visit that page by clicking here. I promise it’s worth your time so you do not become confused!
This is the outline of all this is so far planned. There is time for me to work and collaborate on the plans for NGO Bloom for Life, as well as finish my own resources aimed for publication – and of course to partner with four different orphanages for a total of about 4 months of traveling time. I’ll also be spending time volunteering with different holistic health organizations to teach and volunteer in areas of their own development in exchange for room / board / experience and insight.
Please get this clear – this is not a gap-year, this is a travel / work / humanitarian project that will not only help me jumpstart my career, but in the long run help millions through the efforts I and other team members give during this time.
Please also understand that this is an outline, I have no way of foreseeing all that will happen, but this is a guide to keep my ventures on track and the people I intend to help scheduled in as top priority.

September 27, 2014

October 25, 2014
Travel North, go to Vanarasi, Rishikesh, and some of the more popular cities of India. Here I will volunteer with an orphanage for 2 – 3 weeks, as well as stay in an ashram / yoga center for 2 weeks. (I’m kind of open, as I’d also like to travel to Tibet for a brief amount of time).
November 25, 2014
Possible: Volunteer with another orphanage in India, or plan for next continent.
December 5, 2014
Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya
Here I will couch-surf, tour for a week, and get grounded in Africa. (I have dreamt of coming here my entire life, so this will be super exciting). Talk with locals, meet with health institutions in this area, and gain insight from the locals on Africa’s highlights, problems, etc…
December 12, 2014 – April 2015
This section is still being planned, as I am in contact with possible orphanages, holistic healing centers, and volunteer programs to take part in during this time. But so far the plan includes the following:
Volunteer in Kenya for 1 month at orphanage
Travel South and participate time to teach and home-stay with a few villages / families in Botswana, Tanzania, and South Africa.
In South Africa, volunteer at holistic health centers and / or another orphanage for a short period of time.
Work-exchange in volunteer program at a holistic healing place (or if budget allows, rent a place for a month) to work on my own projects (this entire time continuing to work on business aspects of Bloom for Life and publish my books).
April / May
Land in Denpasar, Bali
Travel to Ubud, Bali, where I will stay for 2 months. Here I will form relations with the people, round up a lot of aspects of my own projects, and travel the island for possible ‘headquarters’ locations for Bloom for Life, and also gain insight from the local people and culture as well.
Travel to Jakarta, Indonesia, where I will volunteer at an orphanage for 1 – 2 months.
In this location, I hope to attract the opportunity to learn and volunteer with local healers and also homestay with Balinese families.
I plan on being here 5 months.
September / October 2015
By this time, my list of Objectives / Goals are aimed to be completed. This will be when I launch all the efforts from the past 2 years and launch our team to begin our first project… Where that will be, who knows, yet!
Please DONATE to this project! Your help is immensely appreciated!!
